Who is singing the national anthem at the Miami Grand Prix 2024?

Marc Anthony is set to perform the national anthem on May 5. “It’s always an honor to have the opportunity to perform our National Anthem and I am looking forward to sharing the special occasion with everyone in attendance and with Formula 1 fans watching everywhere,” the Grammy winner said in a press release.

More celebrity performances, fan zones and events

The Hard Rock Beach Club 

Located on the outside of Turns 11-13 is the Hard Rock Beach Club, a hospitality space that will feature star-studded performances. “As a founding partner of Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, Hard Rock is proud to have the topnotch trackside entertainment at Hard Rock Beach Club be the soundtrack to race weekend for the third year in a row,” Keith Sheldon, president of Entertainment & Brand Management at Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming, said in statement. “By delivering a lineup of marquee entertainers in the pop, house, and dance music genres, we’ll look to amplify the race day experience for fans at Hard Rock Beach Club and throughout the circuit.”

Beyond the Track at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood

  • The hotel will be celebrating the Miami Grand Prix with a performance by Don Omar at the Hard Rock Live on Thursday, May 2.
  • Ed Sheeran will take the stage the following night on Friday, May 3.

U.S. Formula 1 event for car fans

  • On May 4, there will be a live auction on the track for invited guests, as well as Bonhams|Cars clients and car collectors. During the Grand Prix weekend, car fans will be able to enjoy a “display of contemporary, modern supercars and Formula 1 race cars,” per a press release. “We are thrilled to be able to announce our new partnership with Bonhams|Cars,” Tyler Epp, president of the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, said. “The community of fans and collectors in Miami have a strong passion for all types of cars, old and new, so for enthusiasts to have the opportunity to own one of the items in this special lot will add further appeal to a busy weekend of on-track action at this year’s FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX.”

Fan areas

  • The Tequila Herradura Fan Zone at the Grand Prix will feature a live DJ, shaded area and signature Tequila Herradura cocktails. The Campus Partner of the Miami International Autodrome will also be hosting a VIP experience at the Extraordinary Awaits Bar in the MIA Marina area of the West Campus
  • Racing Fan Fest presented by SWARM is described as the “largest and most elevated off-track fan experience in Miami.” The four-day immersive event, taking place May 2 through May 5, will include live stage performances by Ariel Assault, ZIV, Konnekt, Sictric, Rz Spinz and Kaos, plus pop-up shops by Hugo Boss and New Era, activations by Heineken and SEGA, creative cocktail experiences curated by Milagro Tequila and culinary concepts from North Italia, Pink Paloma, Wynbrgr and Bonitas. Located at 2250 NW Second Avenue.
  • You will also find the Red Bull Fan Zone in Wynwood. The free event—supported by Cash App, Heineken, Ford, Sega, New Era and Hugo—will feature installations, food, drinks and a live DJ set. Racing Fan Fest, in partnership with Red Bull, will spotlight the Red Bull Fan Zone with interactive activations, including the “Race Weekend Watch Party,” racing simulators and the Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 and Visa Cash App RB01 Display. The Red Bull Fan Zone Garage will be open May 3, May 4 and May 5.
  • The Williams Racing Fan Zone is happening at 700 Lincoln Road, South Beach from April 29 to May 5. Guests can swing by the free event and see the FW46 Show Car on display, get behind the wheel of an esports simulator, meet F1 icons like Williams Racing drivers Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant, join the Givenchy Gentleman Society and receive a sample of the new Gentleman Society Extreme fragrance, and more!

Miami spots for F1 weekend festivities

LIV Miami

  • Guests can look forward to live performances from Black Coffee on May 2, John Summit on May 3, Bizarrap on May 4 and DJ Khaled on May 5 at the iconic club located at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach.

Pilo’s Tequila Garden

  • Leading up to the Miami Grand Prix, guests are “invited to an electrifying fusion of Afrobeats, Afro Latino, Amapiano, Afro House, and Open Format brought to you by DJ Mr. Anderson and special guests” at Pilo’s Tequila Garden on May 2. The venue “promises an unforgettable experience within the excitement of Formula One!”

Jack’s Garage

  • Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and Universal Music Group For Brands’ new music platform experience, Jack’s Garage, will kick off during F1 Miami weekend with an immersive event hosted by Chris Jedi and Gaby Music on May 4. The event will feature “live performances, interactive pit stops, and unforgettable moments that showcase the essence of Miami.” “You won’t want to miss what Chris and I are bringing to Jack’s Garage during Miami’s race weekend,” said Gaby Music. “We’re excited to be able to host and perform our latest EP and all of our hits for our fans.”

The Rooftop by Klaw Miami

  • Visitors can celebrate Cinco de Mayo on May 5 with a “spirited tequila brunch against the breathtaking backdrop of Biscayne Bay, complete with live F1 races.”

Aarón Sánchez culinary pop-up experience

 Graziano’s

  • Sip wine or eat an empanadas while cheering on your favorite drivers! During the Formula 1 weekend, the Argentine spot in Miami will be airing the races for car-aficionados

GR8 Experience “epicurean” event

  • Once Upon a Kitchen presented by GR8 Experience and W South Beach is returning to Miami in celebration of Formula 1. The ticketed-event at the W South Beach will give attendees “the chance to experience a once-in-a-lifetime culinary journey” with Virgilio Martínez, chef of the World’s Best Restaurant, Central Restaurante, and Massimo Bottura of Osteria Francescana.

Almave Race Weekend Happy Hour at Casadonna

  • In collaboration with race car driver Lewis Hamilton and Almave’s Master Distiller Iván Saldaña, Groot Hospitality is introducing a non-alcoholic drink menu to its hotspot restaurants Casadonna, Komodo, and Gekkō. To celebrate the Grand Prix weekend in Miami, it will kick off first at Casadonna. Complimentary Almave non-alcoholic drinks will be offered to guests at the Italian eatery for happy hour on May 1 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Pacsun activation at Smorgasburg Miami

  • On May 4 and May 5, Pacsun will be parked at Smorgasburg Miami in Wynwood offering fans the new styles from a branded Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix 2024 and Pacsun truck. Individuals will be able to participate in a raffle to win the $600 Jeff Hamilton x Formula 1 x PacSun Full Leather Racing Jacket.

Villa Azur

  • Villa Azur in Miami Beach will be presenting an exclusive lineup of special guest DJs (Laurent Simeca, HushMoney and ZIV) during the race weekend.
